This program aims to make the wide public familiar with the works of contemporary art from the funds of NCCA. The acculturation of the NCCA collection started when the Center was established in 1992. Today it comprises about 15 hundred works of painting, graphic, sculpture, photography, and artworks involving advanced technology, such as objects, installations, video art products, computer prints, interactive artworks, mainly Russian, but also by foreign artists of the late 20th – early 21st centuries. The program also aims to make private and corporate collections of contemporary art accessible to general public at temporary exhibitions and festivals.
