Born in 1964 in Mongolia. In 1989, graduated from St. Petersburg State University. Holds a PhD in Art History and focuses on 20th-century art. Teaches at the Chair of Interdisciplinary Research of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences of St. Petersburg State University. Works as curator at Navicula Artis gallery (St. Petersburg). Initiator and founder of Kharms-Festival (1995-2005). Staged and directed performances at the Museum of St. Petersburg Avant-Garde. Art critic, correspondent of ArtTerritory.com.
