Boris Orlov

Born on April 1, 1941.
In 1966, graduated from Stroganov High School of Arts, Moscow.
Created several monumental sculpture works, including the decoration of the Southern River Station in Moscow.
One of key figures in Russian underground art of the 1970s and 1980s. Participant and organizer of numerous art projects of Perestroika time.
Participant of major exhibitions of Russian art abroad, such as RUSSIA! in New York, Moscow – Berlin, Moscow – Warsaw, and others.
Nominee of Kandinsky Prize in 2008.
Works can be found in major museums and private collections in Russia, Europe, and the USA.
