In 1978, graduated from the university with a degree (D.E.A.) in Fine Arts, then obtained a degree from the School of Louvre (1982).
1982-1991 – Curator at Museums of the City of Poitiers.
1991-1995 – Museum Consultant at the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs of Burgundy.
1995-2000 – Curator in charge of contemporary art at the General Inspectorate of the Museums of France.
2001-2006 – Director and Chief Curator at the Museum of Fine Arts in Nancy.
Since 2006 – Director and Chief Curator of the Museum of Fine Arts in Nantes.
