Lecture by Adrian Notz (Switzerland):

"Dada is not a Style. Dada is an Assertion"

Adrian Notz, co-director at Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich, delivers a lecture: "Dada Is Not a Style. Dada Is an Assertion" in which he tells about Dadaism's historical value, revival of Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich and about new Dada projects.

Adrian Notz (born in 1977, in Zurich) studied Art at the University of Art (HfK) in Bremen und Art Theory at the University of Fine Arts (ZHdK) in Zurich. From 2004 until 2006 he was curator and since 2006 co-director of Cabaret Voltaire. Since 2010 he is director of the faculty of Fine Arts at the school of visual arts in St. Gallen.

The lecture and discussion are part of the Special Program of the 11th Contemporary Art in the Traditional Museum Festival.

The lecture is supported by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia.
