MARTHA ROSLER: Meeting with the Artist and a Video Screening

Martha Rosler is a well-known American artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. Her works in several media are in the permanent collections of numerous museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Arts, Whitney Museum of American Art, and Guggenheim Museum in New York; Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Tate and V& A in London; and Australian National Gallery, Canberra; and hundreds of colleges, universities, and independent centers around the world. Her works has been exhibited at the 50th Venice Biennale; 2004 Taipei Biennial; two Documentas, Kassel; several Whitney Biennials, and many other group exhibitions. The Martha Rosler Library toured 2005 to 2009. Martha Rosler’s career retrospective is to be shown in MOMA, New York in November, 2012.

School for the Young Artists is a joint project by the PRO ARTE Foundation and NCCA supported by Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation.
