Lecture by Olesya Turkina “Object and Installation. Exit to 3D Space”

 The lecture is referring to how artists explore the space; how the thing travelled all the way from being a mean of consumption to art object, from Marcel Dushamb’s ready-mades to Claes Oldenburg and Jeff Koons objects; how the space was assigned by the artists from Kurt Schwitters’s merzbow to Robert Smitson and Mike Nelson installations. 
 Olesya Turkina having PhD in Fine Arts is a leading research assistant of Contemporary Art Department of the State Russian Museum, critic and curator, also a curator of the Russian pavilion aat the 48th Venice Biennale.
