Dietrich Meyer (b. 1987). Originally from the suburbs of Washington, DC, USA. He is engaged in sculpture, objects, drawing and video. He spent the last 10 years living and working in Philadelphia, PA. He co-founded the project space, High Tide, located in the Northern part of Philadelphia. Dietrich's work addresses notions of materiality in class and social structures, and human's interactions with the natural world. At the NCCA Art residence in Kronstadt he is going to be working on an artist book while in Russia. The book is going to be printed in New York with Bukow Press, which is based both in New York and in Berlin.
