Artist talk and show of video works

by artist Alyona Tereshko

On the 10th of October 2016 artist Alyona Tereshko, graduate of the School for Young Artists program (2012-2013), showed and discussed her video works with students of the School for Young Artists.

Alyona Tereshko graduated from the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design and the School for Young Artists created by the St Petersburg PRO ARTE Foundation (2013). A member of the art group “Parazit” (since 2012). Participant of the exhibitions: “Parazit+” at PERMM Museum of Contemporary Art (2013), “Lost in translation” - the special project of the 55th Venice biennale (2013), “The Other Capital” at the Museum of Moscow (2014) and the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen (2015, 2016).

The “School for Young Artists” educational program was created by the St Petersburg PRO ARTE Foundation in 1999. The NCCA North-Western Branch joined the program in 2012. Supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation.
