“Stellar Arachnes”

At the exhibition a French contemporary artist Julien Salaud will present an installation “Stellar Arachnes” that includes stuffed animals, videos, photos, and audio. Arachne is the name of a Greek craftswoman who wanted to surpass in the art of weaving Athena herself and was turned into a spider for that. For Julien Salaud the image of Arachne is the best symbol of an Artist, who aims to connect the broken relationship between man and his environment and recreate human ecology.

Exhibition is held as part of Kronstadt International Eco Art Festival “KronFest”.
