Workshop by artist Sergey Bratkov

This workshop's focus was the process of putting together an exhibition and it's installation. Each participant designed a maquette of a gallery displaying his personal exhibition.

Sergey Bratkov is an eminent Russian and Ukrainian artist. Born in Kharkov in 1960. Graduate of Ilya Repin Academy of Fine Arts and Kharkov Polytechnic Academy. Moscow resident since 2000. Works with such media as photography, video, sculpture and performance. Sergey Bratkov is one of the founders of the Fast Reaction Group - an art group he started together with Boris Mikhaylov and Sergei Solonsky.

He had retrospective solo exhibitions in Winterthur Museum of Photography in Switzerland, Ghent Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgium and Viktor Pinchuk Center of Contemporary Art in Kiev, Ukraine. He represented Russia at the 2003 Venice Biennale and then Ukraine at the same Biennale in 2007. In 2009 he became the Innovation Award laureate.
