KronFest is a multidisciplinary project integrating art and ecology. The Festival explores ways of creative approach towards environmental issues, efficient use of resources and recycling, and brings together creative minds developing environmental projects. Participants: artists from Kronstadt, Saint-Petersburg, Finland, Estonia, Denmark and Israel.

VII KronFest – Kronstadt Eco Art Festival is dedicated to the Gulf of Finland Year 2014.

The Gulf of Finland coastline constantly changes its shape affected by weather and environmental conditions, as well as human activity manifesting itself in multiple images and stories that are totally self-sufficient and open to any random observer. But when this observer happens to be an artist, he or she becomes a co-author inspired by the turbulent harmony of the place where three elements – earth, water and air – meet and interact. Coastline art is both art of nature and that of the artists who are sensitive to the unique character of coastal life and are able to translate its visual and philosophical metaphors into photographs, paints and objects.
