Emily Newman
is an American artist, born in Singapore in 1977. She received her MFA from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in 2004 and has shown internationally in Europe and in the US collaboration with Klaus Von Nichtssagend Gallery in New York. She is currently the director of TOKAMAK, a residency for artists on the island of Suomenlinna in Helsinki (Finland).


School for the Young Artists is a joint project of the PRO ARTE Foundation and the North-Western Branch of the NCCA supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation.
