"What’s the Essence?"
Master-class by Irina Korina (Moscow)
December 8, Sunday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
During her master-class Irina Korina and the participants of the School for the Young Artists discussed various city spaces and buildings; Irina Korina also spoke of truth and lies, of the false and the real, of forgeries and honesty.
In the course of the master-class young artists joined their efforts to design and put up a temporary exhibition pavilion made of cardboard which they later used to display their works dedicated to the topic of the master-class.
Born in 1977, Moscow.
Recipient of the Soratnik award (2006, 2009, 2012). Innovation Prize (2007). Terna Prize (Italy) – winner in the Connectivity category for her Show Trial installation (2012); Moscow Debut award for for the production design (in cooperation with N. Zurabova) for the Midsummer Night’s Dream (Cheknov Moscow Art Theater).
Irina Korina lives and works in Moscow.
