Curator: [Evgeny Umansky]

Organizers: Baltic Branch of NCCA

The exhibition is named after Campo di Fiori, the eponymous poem by Czesław Miłosz, written in 1943 in Warsaw during the Ghetto Uprising. In recent time familiar terminology and concepts have been brought back: genocide, fascism, „the regime“ – and this is not just a rhetoric but reality, which is somewhere near us. The curator‘s idea was not only to memorize Holocaust. The artworks of different artists produced at different times and using various media, address the questions of nationality, Jewry, collective tolerance and memory in contemporary world.

Artists: Carl Michael von Hausswolff (Sweden), Sergey Bratkov (Ukraine), Mikhail Gulin (Belarus), Hubert Czerepok (Poland), Elisha Flozer (Israel), Ram Katzir (Netherlands / Israel), Jakob Kirkegaard (Denmark), Oleg Kostyuk (Russia), Alexandra Mitlyanskaya (Russia), Valery Orlov (Russia), Ana Riaboshenko (Georgia), Evgeny Umansky, Yury Vassiliev (Russia), „Blue Noses“ Group (Russia)
