“There is No Zero Risk”
«There Is No Zero Risk» is an innovative artistic project integrating different forms of art. Various types and genres intertwine into one synthetic artwork, inciting a dialogue between text, image and sound.
The project is based on the poetic text “In Situ” (written by Patrick Bouvet, Paris) which becomes the object of research and interpretation for the project’s participants. Each participant presents their own response to the literary work: multimedia installation (Provmyza Group, Nizhny Novgorod), music (Laurent Dailleau, Paris) and performance (Judith Depaule, Paris) with participation of actors from Nizhny Novgorod and Ulaynovsk.
Contemporary technologies are an integral part of the project. iPad tablets, introduced into the artistic text by the director (12 monitors controlled by 12 actors), perform a role of audio and video guides, becoming a link for communication between the performance participants and the audience. Consequently, all artworks engage into a dialogue, being united by the Arsenal space, specifics of which determine certain formats of installations, performance and representation. The actors and music will lead the audience from one space and into the other – from one audio and video installation to the next. The project will be performed for 24 people who will receive copies of the “In Situ” book translated into Russian.
