This is a film diary, consisting of visual notes, which eventually turned into a study in the visual comparison of the two countries, two states, two Homelands. This is a film about a man who immigrated to Israel a few years ago at the age when the full integration was not possible. But after he returned to Russia, he realized that he had irrevocably changed, and he would never be able to feel himself there such as before. He was still a stranger to his new “homeland” but the old he does not feel his own anymore. And he goes back and forth, trying to understand, to learn, to identify himself: perhaps it is time to choose a new place to live again?

A visual comparison of countries becomes the comparison of contemporary art in Russia and Israel.
