Marina Perchikhina is an artist and scenographer, a cult figure of the Moscow Art Underground, one of the founders of the Spider & Mouse Gallery. The book by Perchikhina “Reading the White Wall” (Moscow. NLO) – Art Studies Series includes art projects from the period of 1987–2010. The genre of this book could be determined with an old cliché “Life in Art”: A memoirs here become a description of the projects: documentary chronicle turns into theoretical arguments about the nature of contemporary forms of artistic statement.

The evening will consist of a dialogue between the author and renowned art critic and curator Ludmila Bredikhina.
