The Gutenberg age is about to end, its «paper» technologies are being replaced by digital ones, determining the prospects of other information strategies and media. The times at the end of the twentieth century were experienced a particular crisis. Its images were loosing their reality, its ideas were turning into virtual ones, its matter was still keeping the «fragility» of paper, bearing the signs of disruption and injuries. The paper at this «Beautiful Era», as it was designated by Joseph Brodsky and Eduard Limonov, transformed into a metaphor for the changing reality, still bearing the intention of a traditional civilization, its utopias and still freedom of the projective thinking.
«Paper Time» project is aimed to describe and to represent recent models of postmodern topography, topicality of immaterialized ideas existing in the imagery of Platoinic myth.
