The Drift project presents a unique opportunity to compare the creations of certain most interesting young video and Internet artists of the contemporary period. The works of these masters are full of acute social and cultural criticism. They focus on the fact that communication and information technologies have created the space where video and new means of information distribution can openly interact with the mosaic of uncontrolled influences and myriads of ideas penetrating into our imagination in the ever expanding info-blog spheres. The Drift is devoted to video artists exploring psychological freedom and isolation brought about by the new cultural and technological achievements of the 21st century
