Deaf and Hard of Hearing Visitors

In 2017, the Arsenal launched a new project 'Sign Language Club', which is designed for deaf and hard of hearing people, as well as those who study or speak Russian sign language.
The project's curator is Ekaterina Maguskina, philologist, journalist, museum teacher.

Meetings of the Sign Language Club
Every Wednesday from 18:00 to 20:00 we expect everyone who wants to talk with us about contemporary art, watch and discuss interesting films, or play board games at the Arsenal cafe.
Meetings are held by volunteers and sign language speakers.
Participation in all the Club events is free of charge.

Tours in Russian Sign Language
On Saturdays from 12:00 till 13:00 the Arsenal hosts guided tours and discussions in Russian sign language arpound the current exhibitions.
The tours are conducted by Mitya Morovov, a philologist, teacher, sign language populariser, curator of the Russian Sign Language Festival 'џ', art director of the 'џ' Centre, which was created to develop a tolerant environment for hard of hearing people.
